Every year there are around 300 new film productions in Berlin. Alongside popular areas with high-rise and old buildings, courtyards and historical bridges, The Westin Grand Hotel Berlin is much in demand as a film location.
The film hotel in the centre of Berlin has a long connection with the German film industry, be it for commercials or family series, feature films or music videos. International film productions have also used The Westin Grand Berlin as a location. Parts of a murder mystery were filmed in our Goethe Suite and an exciting chase in The Bourne Supremacy with Matt Damon was shot on the magnificent staircase in the hotel in 2004.
